I am sure that like most Kentuckians I am through with the below 40 degree temperatures. I hope that the warmer weather is here to stay. I tell people all the time that I love living in Lexington except January, February and March...and this year April!!! Isn't April a Spring month? When baseball season begins at the end of February for colleges and mid March for high schools you can expect from time to time to have a frigid day or night of baseball. When the youth leagues start in mid April I kinda feel that 60 degrees is a cool night. Am I wrong?
When we get back from Spring Break we are supposed to bring that warmer weather with us. I mean we leave here at the end of March while its cold and come back to warm spring days. Not!! Tammy and I left Florida early in the morning it was 63 degrees. By the time we got to south Georgia it was 67. When we crossed the Tennessee / Kentucky border it was 37 and snowing. Yeah I was wearing shorts and tee shirt. Welcome home! We have had a couple of really nice days that have only made the colder days like yesterday even more miserable. The 80 degree days can't get here fast enough.
Don't even get me started about all the rain!! Sheesh!!!
