I am always amazed about the amount of trash and debris is left behind after a night at Champions or at the Champions Sports Park. Why is it so hard to find a trashcan. I know that we aren't alone in this. I went to Veterans Park to watch the 11u Cal Ripken Regionals a few weeks ago and that park was wrecked. Don't know why we can't just throw our trash in the trash can. I mean really. People complain about the prices at the concessions stand and then throw their trash on the ground or leave in the bleachers. Seriously - someone has to be paid to clean that up. Just thought that I would voice my thoughts that large groups of people are traditionally messy.
Coaches can do the same thing. I can't tell you the number of trashed dugouts that had to be cleaned after some tournament games this year. This summer there was a post from Tates Creek Baseball who hosted a tournament game this summer and one of the teams left tons of trash in the dugout. Not only is this disrespectful but shows what teams have class and what teams don't. Classy team have clean dugouts and trashy teams leave trash.
Remember the old signs - put trash in it place. I guess we have to be reminded that trash doesn't belong on the ground but in a can. I guess I am just saying the next time you go to the movies, a ball game, or a concert or come to Champions have some respect for the people that operated that facility. If you continually mess it up then it just makes for a bad environment. So this one is quick but note worthy - please be a neat freak and teach your kids to be the same way.
